Homemade Natillas ingredients:

500ml of milk

2 measures of Rooibos Portuguese Delights

3 egg yolks

4 tablespoons of agave or honey

1 tablespoon of cornstarch

How do you make the homemade natillas?

Heat the milk (in a microwave or aeroccino), taking care not to bring it to the boil. Infuse the 2 measures of Rooibos Portuguese Delight for 10 minutes. Filter and leave to cool.

Then put the infused milk, egg yolks, sugar and cornflour into the blender jug. Blend for a few seconds until you get an even mixture.

Place in a microwave-safe container and cook as follows: 3 mins at 800W, stir, 2 mins at 800W, stir, 1 min at 800W, and stir.

Check if it has thickened, and then place the natillas in 4 small bowls. Ready!
