Red tea or Pu-Erh tea is made using the leaves and shoots of the Camellia Sinensis plant, which is larger and grows in Yunnan Province. There are two kinds of Pu-Erh tea: raw and ripe. There is a difference in their production processes. The ripe variety was created to accelerate the tea fermentation process and, therefore, it does not have to wait for a minimum of 5 years until it can be sold.

It has a low tannin content and therefore helps to improve digestion problems. It goes perfectly with a diet which is low in fat and sugar, and rich in vitamins, mineral salts and carbohydrates. Its low theine content makes it suitable for any time of day, including afternoons and evenings.
